This week, State Representative Dave Thomas introduced House Bill 335 which would modify the law governing county budget commissions, property taxation, county sales taxation, and alternative apportionment formulas for local government and public library funds. Joint EMAO and Ohio EMA Training Opportunities

The Ohio School Safety Center is pleased to share that registration for the Ohio School Safety Summit June 9 - 10 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center is still open! We have over 1,100 registered for this incredible free training event.

This year's School Safety Summit is the first to feature both K-12 and Higher Education topics and breakouts! Join us as Chancellor of the Ohio Department of Higher Education, Mike Duffey, helps us kick off our event. 

Conference presentations and training opportunities will include experts in each of the following critical areas: physical security, emergency management, mental health, school climate, suicide prevention, critical incident response, cyber safety, transportation, and threat assessment.

This event is free and open to the public. Additional details like the speaker list and agenda, hotel blocks, and parking, are available on the summit website.
