The next meeting is set for Noon, Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Der Dutchman restaurant 4967 Walnut Creek St, Walnut Creek.
Those attending the September 12th get together were: Sandy and Larry Hatton, Jean and Jake Honabarger, Ed Cox and Serena Thurin, Jay and Ruth Ann Carter, Ralph and Carolyn Linsalata.
The alleged ring leader is the former Holmes County Director, Dennis Fitzpatric. About two years ago he got the idea that it would be nice if some of the retired directors got together for lunch once in a while. Initially they met every other month. The original attendees were Fitzpatric, Carter, Cox and Honabarger. This year Duzzny, Hatton, Linsalata and Somppi started attending. Recently it was decided that we will meet the first Friday of every month except July 4th. There are no dues and attendance is not mandatory. Those who can make it on any given month will will notify Fitzpatric or Cox. They usually make the restaurant reservations.
