STANDING RESOLUTION I
AMENDMENTS
Any corrections or other changes to these Standing
Resolutions must be proposed and adopted at a General Membership meeting.
Prior to the adoption of any additions, deletions or other
changes to these Standing Resolutions a written copy of the proposed additions,
deletions or other changes must be circulated to the general membership at least
ten (10) work days (Monday through Friday) prior to the General Membership
meeting at which they will be considered.
To be considered as adopted, any additions, deletions or
other changes to these Standing Resolutions must be favorably voted on and
approved by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Active Members attending the General
Membership meeting at which they are to be presented and voted upon.

STANDING RESOLUTION II
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP DUES
To conform to the Association’s Constitution, "Article
V Membership Fees";
The "Active Membership" dues for the fiscal year
January 1 2001 to December 31, 2001 and until changed by the membership shall be
$150.00.
This fee shall include the fee for an Associate Membership in
the County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO) and the membership fee of
the Active Member’s representative.
Active members may also choose to pay an additional $25.00
per year to support the Association’s web site on the Internet.

STANDING RESOLUTION III
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP DUES
To conform to the Association’s Constitution "Article V Membership
Fees";
The Associate Membership dues for fiscal year January 1, 2001 to December 31,
2001 and until changed by the membership shall be:
$25.00

STANDING RESOLUTION IV
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP DUES
To conform to the Association’s Constitution, "Article V Membership

The Professional Membership dues for the fiscal year January 1, 2001 to
December 31, 2001 and until changed by the membership shall be:
$300.00 per person

STANDING RESOLUTION V
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS
Whenever meetings of the Executive Committee of the
Association are called or scheduled, the Chairs/Presidents from the various
Quadrant or Sector organizations in the State of Ohio, or their designated
representative, shall be notified of the meeting(s) and be invited to be
present. They may ask for and may receive permission to speak but will not have
a vote on matters coming to a vote by the Executive Committee members. Only
their officially appointed and recorded representative may cast a vote.

STANDING RESOLUTION VI
BONDING OF ASSOCIATION TREASURER
Be it resolved that the Treasurer of the Emergency Management
Association of Ohio (EMAO) be bonded in an amount not less than one hundred
twenty-five percent (125%) of the preceding year’s assets of the Association.
History:
Proposed at the regular Association meeting held in Canton,
Ohio on June 3, 2002.
Adopted at the regular meeting held in Columbus on September
2, 2002

STANDING RESOLUTION VII
COMPOSITION OF EMAO SECTORS
For purposes of Articles VII(1)(a) and IX(1) of the By-laws of the Emergency
Management Association Of Ohio (EMAO) this resolution fixes the EMAO Sectors in
the state.
Upon adoption of this Standing Resolution there shall be five (6) sectors,
known as:
North Central
North East
North West
Central
South East
Western

STANDING RESOLUTION VIII
SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES
Each of the Sectors delineated in Standing Resolution VII shall select one
member from their Sector to serve on the Executive Committee or board of
trustees of the Emergency Management Association of Ohio (EMAO).
As soon as the representative is selected the President or Chairperson of
each Sector shall notify the EMAO President and Secretary of the representative’s
name and the term for which (s)he is to serve. The notification is to become a
part of the records of the EMAO.
No person may be appointed to represent more than one (1) Sector.
The duties of each Sector representative include, but are not limited to;
attending the EMAO Executive Committee meetings
representing the Sector at all EMAO Executive Committee meetings,
casting the Sector vote at all EMAO Executive Committee meetings,
carrying the ideas and concerns of the Sector to the Executive Committee,
relating to the Sector the decisions of the EMAO Executive Committee,
and other duties and responsibilities as the position may require.
During times of emergencies or disasters in a Sector or
Sectors, an alternate may represent the Sector provided the alternate presents
written notice from the Sector President or Chairperson validating his/her
selection as an alternate.
